It allows you to add your own email accounts.

It has an excellent SPAM filtering system that you can set to various "strengths", which our free mail does not have.

As for the functionality, it is similar to Outlook only it's web-based so you can check it from your home, office, or laptop.

You can consolidate your many accounts into this one that is branded with your domain.

You can still keep the mail separated though by creating rules to send mail from a particular address to a particular folder.

You can create different auto-responders for different addresses as well.

If you have an assistant that needs access to your calendar, you can set up a shared calendar with them.

You also have 500mg of space for attachments.It also makes it much easier to send/receive emails with large attachments.

If you use it to consolidate multiple email accounts like yahoo, hotmail, mail@yourdomain.com, in addition to the receiving functionality above, you can also make it appear that you are "sending" from those various different places - ie: if someone sends an email to your yahoo account you can make it look like your response is also coming from that yahoo account.

For one personal account, there is a $99 annual charge.
For 2 - 5 users, there is a $149 annual charge.
